Beef Steak Baguette with Micro Mixed Mustard
You Will Need
- 300g rump steak
- 2 baguettes
- 1 ½ tbsp mayonnaise
- ¼ red pepper, diced
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 punnet of micro mixed mustard
- A pinch of freshly ground black pepper and salt
Could this be the ultimate hot sandwich? We think so! Juicy rump steak, complemented with the light spice of mixed mustard microgreens and crunchy red pepper, this baguette is super tasty – a treat for all the family.
- Season the steak with freshly ground black pepper and salt. Heat the oil in a small frying or griddle pan and cook for 3 – 4 minutes on each side or until cooked to your preference.
- Cut the baguettes in half horizontally and spread with mayonnaise. Slice the steak and place on top of the mayonnaise along with the diced peppers. Snip the mixed mustard and sprinkle over the steak on both baguettes. Place the remaining baguette half on top of the sandwich, cut in half, and serve.
