Quality control
As we employ extremely strict levels of hygiene, at all stages in our production process, we do not use pesticides.
To ensure that our salad cress continues to meet the high standards of quality we demand we have stringent quality control procedures in place based on HACCP.
As with all aspects of our operation, a high level of quality control is maintained throughout the packing process.
Staff have completed NVQ2 in Food Manufacturing. In addition we operate an in-house training programme to ensure that the products are packed to our high standards.
For quality control and trace-abilty purposes, samples are taken from each batch of produce and sent for analysis. Produce is only sent to customers when it has received the all clear. Representative samples are kept to monitor shelf life.
Delivery
To make sure that our salad cress retains its freshness transport is in refrigerated vehicles. ensuringfull trace-abilty of our product to our customers.
