DAY 1Our bespoke growing trays are taken from the sowing line, where they have been filled with compost, covered in seed and watered. They are then placed on the bottom tier of the greenhouse benching and covered with polythene to germinate. |

DAY 2The trays are left covered to germinate; the polythene retains the moisture around the seedlings and reduces temperature fluctuations. The trays remain on the bottom tier of the greenhouse staging for one day. |

DAY 3The trays are uncovered and lifted to the top tier of the benching. The produce can now receive the light and water required to grow. The process from day one is then started again using the bottom tier. |

DAY 4The produce continues to grow in a controlled environment. Greenhouse computers control the heat, lighting, ventilation and provide data for manual checks. The crops are manually checked and watered when required. |

DAY 5The produce is removed from the greenhouse when it has reached the customer’s specification. No pesticides are used at any stage of production. The produce is then chilled, ready to be packed or prepared to the meet customers’ special requirements. |
